This event is open to any individual living with Duchenne or Becker muscular dystrophy AND/OR siblings! It is open to all ages! Participants will learn some of the basics of Procreate, have an opportunity to begin to create, and have an opportunity to connect with others in this informal setting. Participants will also learn how this app can be used as a tool in the classroom to modify the way they complete traditional assignments/tasks more easily. iPads and Apple Pencils will be provided by Best Day Ever Foundation but if participants have their own they are welcome to bring those to use instead. Each participant will need to have a caregiver who stays on-site and we will also be offering an opportunity for those caregivers to spend time together in a separate area during that time. This event will take place in downtown Indianapolis, close to Monument Circle, in a fully accessible location with free parking.
